New Resource - BMJ Case Reports

View over 7500 case reports online and submit your own reports.

What is BMJ Case Reports?

BMJ Case Reports is the largest single collection of peer-reviewed case reports online with more than 7,500 reports published from over 70 countries and covering all disciplines. Healthcare professionals, researchers and others can easily find clinically important information on common and rare conditions. 

You can use the Library's Institutional Fellowship to publish your own Cases.

How do I access BMJ Case Reports?
Go to http://casereports.bmj.com/
Click on the ‘Login via OpenAthens’ link and log in with your OpenAthens account.
Browse and search for recent Case Reports, most read articles and Reports by speciality.

How do I submit a Case to BMJ Case Reports?
Click on the 'Submit an article' link on the BMJ Case Reports homepage.
You will need to register to access the BMJ submission system (ScholarOne Manuscripts) and will need to contact the library team for the RSCH Fellowship Code in order to submit your Case.

How do I register for an OpenAthens username and password?
You will need an OpenAthens account to access BMJ Case Reports. If you do not already have an OpenAthens account, please register at: https://openathens.nice.org.uk/
